This is a great meal that you can throw in the crock-pot and forget about if you have a busy day. It's our family's Sunday staple. I put it in before church, and it's ready when we get back home.
Beef Stroganoff
2-3lb chuck roast with fat trimmed off
8 oz. baby belle mushrooms sliced
2 cups Kitchen Basics beef stock
1 Tbsp minced garlic
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
3 Tbsp dried onion flakes
1 sprig fresh rosemary (remove after cooking)
1/2 cup homemade creme fraiche
Place the roast and mushrooms in the crock-pot. Mix together stock, creme friache, and spices. Pour over top of roast. Cover and cooking on high 4-5 hours. Shred and serve.
